But if you’re not vigilant, the wrong kind of sex can result in cancer.

The human papillomavirus (HPV) is the culprit. Normally, it is flushed from the body by the immune system. But in 10 to 20 percent of cases, HPV festers before mutating into cancer.

That’s why the medical community is cautioning men and women to be aware of sexual BEHAVIOURS that can trigger cellular changes that lead to the disease. If you’re over the age of 60, doctors emphasize that your risk of developing this type of cancer is even higher.
